Video Competition

Make a video that people see and get inspired by…

Prize: $250 in vouchers to Bunnings/Westfield/Petrol etc (something nationwide) – it may turn out to be more if sponsorship comes through.

People will see your video:  The top 20 entries will be uploaded to the www.stronglovingman.com site and will be viewed by thousands of viewers from all around the world.

 Criteria

Time: Less than 3 minutes, 45 seconds long.

Target audience: Men aged 18-35

Theme: The video needs to demonstrate:

  • the importance/value/worth of long-term heterosexual relationships or marriage
  • that there are often ups and downs in a relationship.
  • Give some sort of useful advice (even if it’s subtle) about how to make a long-term relationship work.

Rating: Clean video – i.e. no nudity etc, but the content can be PG rated if it’s on topic – i.e. adult themes are fine if relevant.  Overall though it needs to be clean – i.e. no explicit or overtly sexual jokes etc that would damage the reputation of the site.

How to enter: upload video as a video response to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA5TRbbR7Ko

OR

Post it in to:

Stronglovingman.com video competition, P.O Box 4157, WESTON ACT 2611

How to increase your chances of winning:

  • One way is to have an element of comedy in it
  • Another way is to create something that is real/authentic/honest/revealing and straight from the heart.  Be real – even if it’s hard to hear.
  • Be original/insightful with your advice.
  • The judges will look favourably on your entry if it has some sort of reference to www.stronglovingman.com – it could be spoken or written or a sign in the background etc
